The Forum for Young Researchers (FYR) of DRYvER is a space promoting exchange and discussion between early-career researchers (e.g. M.Sc. and P.hD. students, and Postdoctoral fellows, etc.) within DRYvER. Its main aims are to provide a space for early-career researchers to support each other, encourage mobility of young researchers between institutions, and organize workshops and get together meetings to share knowledge and experiences. The FYR is also actively involved within DRYvER research activities notably by leading the collection of data to estimate the carbon footprint of the project.
Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSMs) aim to help young researchers and early-career investigators (i.e., less than 8 years from date of P.hD.) to visit DRYvER’s partner institutions to benefit from the host’s different technologies, analytical skills, knowledge, expertise, and methods, which are not available at their home institution. STSMs also aim to foster and facilitate collaborations within DRYvER’s partner institutions, by promoting mutual benefit towards joint publications (related to DRYvER) and developing follow-up research proposals.
